Sarah Craig founded I Heart Bikes’ on July 1st, 2011. After having experienced the City of Halifax by bike for years and visiting other cities by bike, Sarah wanted to share that experience with others.
At I Heart Bikes we believe bicycles are fun, and it is our hope to share that experience with our customers.
We offer bicycle tours, bike rentals, dating services, and a small retail shop.
Our bicycle tours are the best way to experience Halifax, whether you are looking for sightseeing attractions, cruise ship shore excursions, a history lesson, or simply looking to experience the green side of the city.
For those who are looking for things to do in Halifax that don’t include a tour group, and wish to experience the city more freely, our bike rental program is for you. Armed with our I Heart Bikes City Map, and keen sense of adventure you may stop and go as you like.
The I Heart Bikes retail shop (and online store) offers a carefully curated line of bicycle accessories, including baskets and hand painted bells for those customers who want that extra special something for their bike.

To go on a bike date, simply grab a friend, flame, or loved one, and ask them. Once they say yes plan something fun and different.
